Terms of Service

Last updated: July 2026

Important: Scanura provides educational tools and health information. It does not provide medical diagnosis, treatment, or emergency care. Always consult a qualified healthcare professional for medical decisions.

1. Agreement

By accessing scanura.com or using the Scanura application ("Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. These terms are governed by the laws of India.

2. Who may use the Service

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. If you upload reports for a minor (for example, your child), you confirm you are their parent or legal guardian and consent to processing that data as described in our Privacy Policy.

3. Not medical advice

All explanations, risk flags, summaries, blog articles, and tools (including the blood test checker) are for general education only. Reference ranges can differ by laboratory, age, sex, pregnancy status, and clinical context. Scanura does not replace a doctor, pathologist, or licensed clinician. Do not ignore professional medical advice or delay seeking care because of something you read on Scanura.

If you believe you have a medical emergency, contact local emergency services or go to the nearest hospital immediately.

4. Accounts and acceptable use

  • Provide accurate registration information and keep your credentials secure.
  • Do not upload content you are not authorised to share, or use the Service for unlawful, abusive, or fraudulent purposes.
  • Do not attempt to reverse-engineer, overload, scrape, or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure.
  • Do not misrepresent Scanura outputs as a clinical diagnosis or official lab report.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or pose security or legal risk.

5. Credits, plans, and payments

Free and paid plans, report credits, and pricing are described on our Pricingpage and may change. Paid features are subject to the payment provider's terms. Fees are generally non-refundable except where required by law or explicitly stated at purchase.

6. Intellectual property

The Scanura name, logo, product UI, and original site content are owned by Scanura or its licensors. You retain ownership of reports you upload. By uploading, you grant us a limited licence to process those files solely to provide the Service, as described in the Privacy Policy.

7. Disclaimer of warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available." We do not warrant that analyses will be error-free, complete, or suitable for any particular medical purpose. AI and automated explanations may misread documents or omit context.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Indian law, Scanura and its operators are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss arising from reliance on educational content or analysis outputs. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the three months before the claim (or INR 1,000 if you have not paid).

9. Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date above reflects the latest revision. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

10. Contact
